Ram Darbar Coin Of British
India Period —Indian Temple Tokens
Ancient Indian Ram Darbar Coin made of 5 metals with the pictures of Lord Rama and Lord Lakshmana on one side and Lord Rama's Darbar with Sita, Lakshmana, Bharata, Shatrugana, and Hanumana sitting by the feet of Lord Rama. This coin is of 557 AD. They were made as charms or tokens to carry around for good luck, and to catch blessings from the gods. They come with designs of Hindu gods and religious ceremonies being carried out in honor of them.
It is listed as one of the rarest coins in the world.
Very few original coins are available in India. They are made up of either
copper, silver or gold. I have one such original coin in my collection. I never
thought it will be most precious and valuable. It is clean without any
corrosion (see picture). As I am growing old, I want to sell it for the benefit of my children and grand children.
Those who are interested to buy it, can contact me through email-meydhanam@gmail.com by
